Day 3177 – Thanks Snow! – or – Real Dates With Bret!

Whooo hooo! I’m so thankful for the snow this week! While I did come down with a cold on the first day, it has been a really great time off with Bret. The first day I mostly rested after I finished my priority work, but we did get to watch Thor Ragnarok. I’ve had a hold request on the DVD at the library for over a month, how wonderful that it arrived the DAY before the snow day! We had recently watched Spiderman Homecoming, in an effort to catch up before Avengers Infinity War. Yesterday, Bret was off of school again, but by lunch, most of the snow had melted, so we were able to watch Black Panther in the theater.

I am SO pumped for Infinity War!

Day 2770 – The Worst Winter Ever

This has been the worst winter ever. There have been no snow days. My Facebook On This Day has been taunting me with the epic snows we had in previous years. Even this day several years ago had snow and snow days.

Today, Bret got a 2 hour delay – YAY! But…..poor guy is sick, and woke up around 4 a.m and couldn’t fall back asleep. So no sleeping in for his delay. Not sure if it will turn into a day off (which would be awesome for Bret). But it really sucks that we can’t enjoy even one snow day together this year. I guess we lucked out last year with a whole week of snow days.

If you’re in Maryland, are you mad at this winter? Are you happy? Tell me below!

Day 1682 – All Good Things Must Come To An End, Including Super Long Weekends

Ahhhh, today is the last day of Bret’s 5 day weekend. *sigh* It’s been a blast sleeping in together, playing video games all day and eating junk food. I’m so thankful for the snow on Thursday and Friday that allowed us to have so much time together. I’d say that was the best Valentine’s Day/”met ya” anniversary yet!

Here’s how we spent most of today. 🙂
