Day 849 – Are The Creamers Still Good?

So….Saturday night, we had my siblings over….they’ve become coffee drinkers, so I wanted to get them a treat of fancy creamers. We got some pretty tasty flavors too! I normally drink my coffee black, so this was a treat for me too!

We fixed a nice, big pot of coffee Sunday morning before church….each of us had a cup….it was great. I don’t think any of us yawned during church! After church, we went to my parents’ (as you saw yesterday)….so….we weren’t home all day….obviously, we came home late, because of the game….and pretty much fell into bed in our clothes.

ok, now we’re caught up to this morning….I get up and start to clean a bit

….and….there….are….the….creamers….on….the….counter.

::deep sigh::

followed by an AWWWW MAN! I bought those puppies Saturday night! I smelled them…a few times….my sense of smell isn’t what it used to be, so I thought…ok….I can either throw them out….or….see if my dear husband will be brave enough to “test them out”….(because I am really not!)….

He arrives after school and I casually walk up with the creamers

me: oh hey….can you try these?
he: why?
me: oh…you know….they might’ve been sitting out…Sunday morning through Monday morning…
he: ::smells both::
he: no no, we should just toss them
::smells both::
::looks at the flavors::
he: well….
::drinks::
he: oh…maybe we shouldn’t
::drinks::
::drinks::
me: hey, thanks!

At this point, I make myself a cup of coffee (almost immediately, actually) and enjoy the sweet cream flavor. Ah. Heaven. I’m so glad I have a Bret around to test the creamer. 🙂

Day 848 – Jurassic Park and The Baltimore Ravens

Today we hung out at my parents’ house all day. I pretty much sat in front of the TV all day. Watching the first two Jurassic Park movies and some bits and pieces of football games….and eating up the battery on my dad’s iPad by playing games and checking my Facebook. 🙂

But the main reason we were there was to watch the Ravens/Steelers game. I hated that it was a later game, because it’s always tough getting up in the morning….but I LOVED that I got to watch it! What a great game!!! I’m always on the edge of my seat when I watch them play the Steelers….I think there’s some kind of rivalry…. 😉

I didn’t take my camera, so I didn’t get a shot of my utter laziness during the day….but I did find this picture of my sister and our friend Marcy at a Raven’s game in 2007.

Day 847 – Maryland Wedding Photographers

Today I met with Mike and Candice Schroen to share their wedding pictures! It was so great to see them! I lingered for a few minutes after because I enjoyed meeting them, working with them, and becoming friends with them so much! What a great couple and family!

Later on, both Bret and I met with our next couple, Lyle and Lindsay, to talk about their upcoming Saturday wedding! We have known them for since we shot the Astarita Wedding last October. Lyle was the best man for their wedding. We also saw them again at the Frederick Wedding last month! Lyle was a groomsman for that wedding. So, Lyle and Lindsay’s wedding will have a LOT of familiar faces! It has been such an honor getting to know them and their friends!

Day 846 – Second Shooting With Shawna

Today I second shot a wedding again with Shawna Sherrell Photography. It was a really beautiful day (even though it was cold!) for an outdoor wedding at the Antrim 1844. What an amazing venue! I highly recommend this venue! Wow!! I even more highly recommend Shawna to photograph your wedding here!

She wasn’t wearing her rings today, for whatever reason, so I had to grab a picture of just mine. I used this wedding flower ball….they were hanging down the aisle for the ceremony and moved to the reception after (both at the Antrim). I love when couples choose to have both the ceremony and reception in the same location. It’s so helpful for pictures and really the guests too. So, brides, if you can help it, same location!
