Well, we have arrived at my last blogging day. I always thought this day would happen on the day that Bret died, but that was not the case (super duper thankfully!) If you haven’t read why, you can read about that here.
Thus ends my journey which began on April 16, 2011.
2,856 blog posts (give or take).
Roughly 1,428,000 words.
Two books published.
I am beyond words thankful for my journey with this blog and for all of you who have read over the years.
“I don’t know where I’m going from here, but I promise it won’t be boring.” – David Bowie
I really don’t have plans to be a major content creator down the road, but I do still plan on writing books and occasionally posting to Medium.
“In case I don’t see ya, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight.” Truman

2,856 blog posts are huge amount. I started my WordPress blogs in October 2009. I have only 379 posts. I started with three posts a week, then two posts a week, then one post a week and now since four years one post in two weeks.
Preparing my posts takes time, because I blog in four languages since four years, before it in three languages. None of those languages is not my mother tongue.
To me the amount is not important, but the content, because I reveal hidden gems of my country Finland. Occasionally I show my travels also.
All the best to Your life!
That’s so awesome! Four languages and none are your mother tongue?? So impressive!
I agree completely about the content is more important than the amount, that’s part of the reason I’m stopping my posting here. In some ways, I kind of ran out of things to say…and I’m a bit burned out.
All the best to you in your travels and blog!!
