Holy smokes, I cannot believe Read A New Book Month is almost over. I truly hope you’ve found a book or increased your read count based on my suggestions. Today I have another tip: participate in reading challenges. I mentioned this a few days back, but I wanted to expound on it some more.
A pretty big game changer for me in my reading quantity and variety was joining reading challenges. You can read about the ones I’m working through on this post.
The challenges helped me to seek out books I never would have on my own. They introduced me to a few communities of book lovers.
There is a big world of books out there and doing a challenge will really help you to find them. I think my favorite this year has been The Mommy Mannegren 52 Books in 52 Weeks Challenge. Her Facebook group is one of my favorites too.
Are you doing a reading challenge this year? Let me know in the comments below!
