His first ring was lost while doing yard work within a few months of our wedding (Summer 2009).

His second ring was lost while camping in my parents’ pine trees. He replaced it with ring number three on day 934 (January 31, 2012).

His third ring turned his finger green. So my mom and I pulled a fast one and got him a new ring (Blogged about on July 27, 2012, but given on July 11, 2012).

His fourth ring was lost while working for a friend (March 10, 2013).

I raided my rings and found ring number five (maybe it’s technically rings 5, 6 and 7?) Here’s hoping this one hangs around more than 6 months!

Wish I had the same idea as the Russells who had SIX wedding rings blessed. They were married in October of 2009. I recently found out John has not lost a SINGLE ring!
