Day 964 – Cupcakes Within 5 Minutes of My Home, Good News or Bad News?

If you have read my blog for any amount of time, you know I am crazy about Flavor Cupcakery. Bret is crazy about them too. They are a luxury item for us, which we don’t mind indulging in. It’s been easy to ignore the posts on my newsfeed EVERYDAY showing the flavors of the day. Tasty pictures. Ah. I’m drooling thinking about it.

Anyways. As I was flipping through my newsfeed, I got some news….I still haven’t decided if it’s good or bad.

Flavor Cupcakery is opening a new location around the third week of April. Where? Oh you know, 10253 York Road, Cockeysville, Maryland. Just minutes of my home. It’s almost close enough to walk to.

So, while I decide if it’s good or bad news, here’s one of my favorite pictures of their beautiful, amazingly, wonderfully, awesome cupcakes.

Day 963 – 25 Anniversaries in One Century

Today is the fourth, ahem, first wedding anniversary of my dear friends Bill and Mel. They were married on February 29, 2008. I’m so glad they finally get to celebrate their first anniversary! It feels like forever since their wedding! 😉 This is such a fun idea, to get married on a day that only happens every four years. It fits this couple so well!

So! Bill and Mel! Happy One Year Anniversary! See you in four years for the Second! 🙂

Day 961 – Flowers From the Past

One thing I never really got before I met Bret was flowers. At least not delivery flowers. The first time he gave me flowers, I was working in the city, and he was stationed in Iraq. I still tell him he never has to give me flowers again, because you really can’t top that. The fact that he coordinated sending me flowers from all the way over there was just awesome. I’ve saved all of the cards from flowers he’s sent me.

Day 960 – Afternoon with Family

We spent most of today at my parents’ house. Watching movies, eating junk food and watching the academy awards. Every time I finish watching an awards show, I always regret it. It feels like a waste of time, yet I can’t take my eyes off of it! Ah well. We didn’t get home too late and got a decent night of sleep.

I wanted to share a picture my sister painted for Bret and I when we got married. She gave it to me at my work bridal shower. Thankfully, it was the last present and was nice and big….because it made me cry and I could use the largeness of it to cover my face! 🙂
