One of my favorite memories from their wedding was the bride singing Danny Boy to her groom….but she changed the words to reflect their wedding day! (The groom’s name is Daniel!)
This lovely lady also sang at our wedding! 🙂

Alas, tonight is the last day of summer for Bret and I…so what did we do? Had pumpkin beer and an AMAZING seasonal beer from Heavy Seas!
Almost two years ago, we moved back in with my family. I’m so grateful for the graciousness of my parents in letting us do so. Just the money savings alone has been huge.
Recently though, we’ve been super blessed in the relationships with my siblings. We’ve had so many conversations about spiritual growth and life with them. It’s been an awesome time for me in the transition from “my siblings” to “my friends.” It’s been such a fun summer with them too! Going to different events and going on vacation. I can’t wait to see what the next few years (or however long we’re here) hold!
Well, I knew the time was coming…but I didn’t want it to come up so fast! Alas, Bret is almost done with his summer break. *sigh*
But we had a mini celebration this afternoon! Such a nice day for it too!

Now, we will have “fights” of who will get to take the ring shot with you guys…
Sometimes it’s payback for a previous wedding… 🙂

We’ll try and fight over who gets to take a photo with you….
But at the end of the day, we’ll take the pictures that represent you as a couple to be cherished the rest of your lives…and you’ll get a few new friends out of it too…
