Day 2606 – How Stickers Work – or – Do What You Were Made For

On my first visit to California, Bret and I went to Joshua Tree and we got a few stickers. I’ve had one that I haven’t stuck on anything yet, it has been on the fridge, held on by a magnet. It constantly falls off the fridge. It struck me that it kept falling because it wasn’t doing it’s job. A sticker is made to stick to something. To cling to that spot until the weather or something else takes it off. It’s not made to be held on by something else.

Are you trying to be something other than what you were made for? Are you trusting in a magnet to hold you up when you are, in fact, a sticker?
