Day 3437 – Pretend To Be A Time Traveler Day – What Would I Change?

So what would I change if I could go back in time? Honestly, probably nothing. I realize that the things that I’ve gone through in life have made me the person that I am today, and I really like that person. The battles we fight, the horrible (and wonderful) things we experience are what make us who we are.

If I could go back in time, I think I’d want to just observe, really see things that I did….especially the things I can’t remember from drinking. It would be interesting to see how I carried myself, the things I talked about, and how utterly different I was. Even though I’m not entirely proud of that drunk girl, she remains a reminder of who I once was and how much I’ve changed for the better.

One point in time that I’ve always wanted to be able to experience is that walk to Emmaus in Luke 24:13-53, where Jesus shares all the mysteries of himself from the old testament.

Ok and let’s be real, I wanna see some dinosaurs…hahah, albeit from a distance.

But at the end of the day, if movies have taught us anything, you wouldn’t really change anything, it would be something that would always be meant to happen, a loop as it were.

Where would you want to travel to if you could time travel? Would you change anything?
