Day 2754 – Remembering When I WASN’T A Minimalist! Oy!

Our video over on Journey With The G’s today talks about how I was NOT a minimalist back in the day. It was crazy looking back on how I lived before. But it was a good reminder that it’s a journey, not something that happens once or overnight.

Day 2751 – One Year With Our Chairs!

One year ago today, we were waiting for a big snow storm. It was also the day our amazing chairs arrived! We have watched countless hours of movies together in these chairs, played wayyyyyy too many hours of video games, read thousands of pages and enjoyed many cups of coffee together in these chairs. I just love these chairs (affiliate link to buy our chairs)! These guys have helped us continue our minimalist life and will go with us on our next journey, I’m sure. One thing I’ve learned living a minimalist life is that you really love the things you do have because you have been purposeful in keeping things.

Day 2711 – What To Do If You Don’t Own A Tripod

Last night, we did our first YouTube intro. Who knows if anyone will ever see it, but hey. Since we left our wedding photography business AND sold everything related to photography, we have no tripod. We’re planning on using my phone for videos until we have the money for a new camera with video capability (funny how things change and stay the same). So, what’s a minimalist to do? Why, use the room light of course! This worked really well!

Since I can’t take a picture with my phone while my phone is in the “tripod” here’s a small notebook for an idea of what it looked like!
