Today I was formatting some of my Compact Flash cards…my process is double checking I have the files saved in two spots (on the computer and an external hard drive) before I format the card (to the wedding/portrait clients, I TRIPLE backup my originals!). But the images on these cards were mostly for this blog and for my church.

So! While I was checking, I realized I totally missed a few pictures for the blog! What follows is one of the coolest birthday cards. My family got it for Bret. My mom added names to each of the characters.

Day 1036 – Mother Daughter Tea at Sovereign Grace Church in Joppa, Maryland

Today I photographed a mother daughter tea at my church, Sovereign Grace Church.

Our church has some fun events through the year.They used to do a mother daughter tea around mother’s day and they decided to bring it back! The thing I loved the most about this is that ladies in the church sign up to design a table. They use their own dishes and decorations, it’s always really cool to see how the ladies show their creativity!

This was my favorite table!! Love the Hello Kitty!

These were too cute! Teacup cupcakes!

They also encouraged ladies to wear a hat!

Day 1030 – Happy Birthday Mom!

My mom’s birthday was yesterday, but we celebrated today! My sister made this awesome cake! Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture when it was a heart. It was tasty though!!
