I don’t have a picture to share today, just a video. I have watched it twice so far and the tears just stream as I watch. It is a very moving example of how a couple can love each other with God as the center and their strength.
I’m thinking about creating a board of thankfulness for our place…

Today I visited Towson University! It has been a long time since I walked the grounds….I realized it has almost been 8 years since I graduated college. Shesh! Made me feel old! Ah well.
I was there to give an interview about being homeschooled and my experiences with that! Lots of fun!
I tried to find a cool picture of the Towson University Campus (because I didn’t take my camera with me) but I could only find pictures of people…until I found the following.
I will say that this is THE best taco salad I have ever had in my life. I have tried to replicate it at home. I have tried to find it at other places. Ah, the journey will continue. I got it in the Union Cafeteria. Anyone know if it’s still there? Some mexican food place….

You know we celebrated Bret’s birthday last night with food and movies. I tried to think what I could do for cheap (i.e. free) for his actual birthday.
This is what I came up with!
I’ve gotten a ton of candles over the years. These are from a birthday party for Jimmy Frederick (one of our previous groom’s) and a bridal show for my friend Cara (who celebrates her one year anniversary on Monday!).
I called Bret into the room and got a great pictures of his reaction!
I love how he pulls the candles together before he tries to blow them out.
Tonight, I wanted to give my hubby a date for his birthday. At first I wanted to try and see a movie, but apparently matinee prices start before 2….did you know that? So, not being one to spend 10 bucks on a movie, I found two rentals at red box (The Vow and the new Underworld movie) and picked up a burger and pit ham and a ton of fries from the Charcoal Deli. It was sooooo good. Sooooo unhealthy, but sooooo good. I love their logo…..but since you probably don’t want to see cow butt, I adjusted accordingly. 🙂
So I’ve been trying to get pictures of this “super moon” since Saturday. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on Saturday, I was distracted by Once Upon a Time on Sunday and it is cloudy tonight too! So, I’m re-sharing a nice picture of the moon and us in California. Take that moon!
