Day 2351 – My Reaction To Star Wars (Spoiler Free!)

I have been looking forward to this day for a long time. I bought my ticket a few weeks back and planned on going alone. I had some last minute company and I was happy about that. Turns out that even though I got the 9:35 a.m. showtime, there was still a pretty long line….even at 7:30. As it turned out though, most of the people in front of us were there for the 9:00, so we were the first ones in our theater.

I have decided that since a picture is worth a 1,000 words, I’d share that.

I even got to meet R2 in person after the movie. Very kind in person. No autograph though…

Day 2349 – I Found A Very Special Gift From Bret…..That He Totally Forgot About

Yesterday, I cleaned out my jewelry collection and found something very special…a cross necklace Bret gave me when we first started dated and right before he went to Iraq. I remember how he put it on backwards and I didn’t realize until he had left…and I just didn’t have the heart to fix it until he got back 7 months later.

I wore that necklace a lot for a very long time. I couldn’t tell you why I stopped wearing it.

Anyways, I put it back on yesterday and was super excited to show Bret when he got home.

As we were standing in the kitchen, I’m all, LOOOK!

And he said something along the lines of….you got a new necklace??
