On Monday, Memorial Day, I ventured down to Washington DC with a few friends! It was a truly awesome day!
We started at the zoo and caught the pandas at feeding time!
(Forgive the out of focusness)

Here’s all three of us!

We also caught the parade! It was really awesome!

I was especially proud of the Marines marching…wonder why? 😉

Today, my brother Josh and I finally stopped by Millstone Cellars.
When we first arrived, the parking lot and tasting room were pretty packed! But we didn’t have to wait long to get a guided tour of the mill. It was fascinating to hear the story behind the mill, how mills operated, how they process their mead and cider, everything!
We sat down and tried several of their current bottles. Oh. My. Gosh. SO good! Josh and I each bought a bottle of the Gingeroot cider. We also loved the Hopbrosia mead. It actually has hops in there too! Yum!
So if you’re in the area, check them out! If you can’t stop by, find them in a store near you….wow, I sound like a commercial! But seriously, so good!
So here is some honeycomb outside. Fresh honey. Dude.

I loved the tasting classes, I bought two!

They use wax to seal the bottles…

And an outside shot so you don’t miss it!

My dear friend Tif is getting married in just over a month and we’re chillin’ at the beach this weekend for her bachelorette party!
To celebrate, here’s one of my old school ocean city beach pictures!
