One of the things Bret enjoys to do is “hit the mitts.” He’s teaching me. I hated it at first, because it was sooooo foreign to me. But, I’ll admit it, I’m starting to “get it” and it’s starting to be fun.
About 2 years before we got married, Bret came to visit. I bought him a bible and wrote a little note to him, with the intention of him taking it to Iraq. I gave it to him on this bench. Now, we can sit here as husband and wife. (Oh and go shop at Trader Joe’s, that’s really the best part.)
Today I had a craving for crabs. Thankfully, Bret was totally ok with this! We got 30 crabs and 3 ears of corn from Captain Treys. I love their crabs! We got these babies for $1 each. Yum!
And, as in previous cases, I almost forgot to put my rings back on. This situation would have been bad. 30 crabs is a lot of crabs!
Today we helped our friends paint at their new house! It was a lot of fun!
Bret and I like to rock climb. We take off our rings to climb. I didn’t take a camera to the gym, but here’s what my hand looks like without rings.
Now, we get to enjoy the Goonies together! : )
