Day 2028 – Marriage, It’s The Little Things

After Bret left for school today, I was doing a little work on the computer before I attempt to go back to bed (I will beat this cold!) and my phone rings.

It’s Bret telling me I have to go look outside. The sunrise is so awesome and I don’t want you to miss it!

I ran upstairs and it was just beautiful. It made me think how a little thing like wanting me to see something beautiful is actually a big thing. It shows me that he sees something cool and wants to share it with me. That I am who crosses his mind. And that he takes the extra step and calls me.

What little thing can you do for your spouse today that will be a big thing to them?

Day 2026 – What Happens When Bret Does Not Take A Dare

Yesterday, I did an epic snow dance…barefoot in my PJs. I had dared Bret to do it, but he did not.

Because of him ignoring a dare, he only got a two hour delay.

Let that be a lesson to you Mr. Gaitan.

Day 2025 – The Teacher’s Wife Snow Dance

I’ve dared Bret to do some silly things in the snow over the years. Snow angels in front of our apartment….and neighbors….in his boxers. I’ve also joined in the fun.

Today, I triple dog dared him to do a snow dance so he could have off tomorrow. Ladies and gentlemen…..he did not do it. He failed the challenge.

Since I apparently want this snow day more than him, I did my own snow dance.

Here’s how it works….first, you make sure someone is recording you. The dance doesn’t work otherwise.
