I bought myself some presents today. 🙂

So! As promised, here are a few more pictures from the Brides & Grooms Expo at Pier Five…

As always, the girls at Moore & Co Events (formerly K&B Events), do an amazing job! I LOVED my dress from K&B Bridals. My makeup was done by Metamorphosis New York. My hair was my favorite part, by Alexandra Blakeley at Lavish Salon in Fallston, MD.
I arrive at the church and start to get ready.
As I’m getting set up, I see another photographer and it’s not my husband.
They look like another pro.
Well, that’s disheartening! I figured the bride would let me know about that!
The ceremony starts with NO warning! All of a sudden, the bridesmaids are walking down the aisle….very fast no less!
None of my cameras are working. I keep changing my lenses. Nothing.
The ceremony ends and I’m trying to take a picture of a couple. Nothing.
The bride then throws her garter. I missed it.
I was so disappointed in myself.
Thankfully, this was right about the point where I woke up. 😉
Whew, sorry I fooled ya there! But it was such a crazy dream, I couldn’t help but share! See how much I love and care about my job? I think about it in my sleep!
Here’s a shot from our wedding ceremony site….and a wedding where things went pretty smooth….and all five of my photographer’s cameras worked.

Today Bret and I went on a hike with one of our dear friends, Mara, who also owns her own business, http://www.maraglazer.com.
What is thebizzybuzz.com you ask?
“thebizzybuzz.com is an e-mail publishing company known for sharing the latest buzz, tools, tips, and finds with an active community of bizzy women entrepreneurs daily… in 350 words or less.”
I’ve gained lots of knowledge from Mara through her online business and our interactions as friends. I am blessed to have such a smart business woman as a friend. 🙂
Here we are being all kinds of serious….

Tonight we met up with some local entrepreneurs to network. We had some great conversations with some who have been in business for years, some who are JUST about to jump in full-time and others who are thinking about starting a business.
And what do you get when networking? A Guinness of course!
