February….where I really just took a lot of pictures of animals…

Since it’s a little harder to update my blog while we’re away, I’m doing a year in review!
First up, January!
Where I dressed up like a pretty bride…

We attended a wedding shower for our clients…

Where Bret played some games!

Right now, we’re probably about half way across the country. I’m writing this a few days in advance because I’m not sure when I’ll be able to update this lovely blog again! Follow us on Instagram for quicker updates!
I wanted to give some tips we’ve learned while driving cross country.
1. Take refillable coffee mugs, like 4 of them. Coffee refills are typically a dollar and sometimes less.
2. Take a bunch of cup of noodles and foods that just need hot water. Use 1-2 of your refillable coffee mugs to get hot water at a gas station. Most of the time, this is free.
3. If there are two drivers, use the back seat for a bed. On the front passenger seat, keep a cooler and easy access to snacks. This way one driver can sleep while the other is driving. Using this method, we drove from California to Maryland in about 51ish hours.
4. Take many books on tape. They have to keep your interest. One year, I listened to the Hunger Games series. I think I did an 8 hour stretch it kept me so awake.
5. Buy all of your snacks and drinks before you leave…at a grocery store. Use coupons if you can. Pack the drinks in your cooler.
6. Have a blast! This is a beautiful country, enjoy it!!!

Most of you know that Bret’s family lives in California. Well, we’re able to visit them again this year! Sadly, we just couldn’t make it last year. π¦ Since air fare is pretty steep this time of year, we’re driving again! We’ve made the drive twice and it’s SO much fun!
See ya in 2014!!! π

Ahhhh, behind the scenes, how I love you.
I’m really bad at hiding how I really feel about things. It’s a good and bad thing…I guess. But always a comical face. π I’m saying “Babe, I’m trying to get my cameras set up, why do I have to look at the camera??”

At least Bret got a few happy shots.

The formals session is always a little crazy, but I still enjoy it! So did everyone else apparently! Look at all those smiles!

It appears Bret is done being my model.

Not getting off that easy mister! π Thanks for holding an imaginary person’s hand!

“Huh? What?”

“Nope, I didn’t touch it….really….”

“Weeeeeeeee”

I love when I actually have cash to do the dollar dance!!!

“There was a fire fight!!!!!”

We try to sneak in and dance at each wedding. Can you find Bret? I was doing the Cupid Shuffle on the balcony at this point too… π

Bret watching the last dance. Dawwwwww.

Love you guys!!!!!
