Day 3433 – You Are The Sum Of The Five People You Spend The Most Time Around, I’ll Bet You’re Forgetting One

I am on my way out to purchase Jen Sincero’s new book, You Are a Badass Every Day: How to Keep Your Motivation Strong, Your Vibe High, and Your Quest for Transformation Unstoppable, and it felt like a good day to talk about something that really changed how I look at things.

Y’all know her books have been a BIG deal in my life. I’ve read her book on money mindset, You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth* (affiliate link here), four times and every time I get something new. I think she talked about how you are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with in her other book, You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life*.

Basically, there’s one person that’s in that sum of five people that you’re forgetting about – YOU. When I first heard this, it blew my mind. It is SO important to take care of ourselves and BE what we want to be.

I’ve taken great steps to ensure I am becoming my best self. From limiting types of media, time on different things, to being patient with myself. I still have a long way to go, but I’m grateful to know that there will always be something to work on in myself, my marriage, my businesses, my life.

Had you realized that you are one of your five before?
