Day 3295 – You Would Have $1,040 Saved If You Took My Advice Two Years Ago

Back on Day 2565, I gave you some advice – figure out your road trip and then start saving. On that post, I discussed a $2,000 road trip, which is a nice budget for a great trip. I suggested saving $20 a paycheck. If you took my advice then, you would have $1,040 now. You’d be halfway to your goal of an epic road trip.

Ok, so maybe you didn’t start saving then but you can start today. I wrote a whole post about how you can save and how we paid down $30,000 of debt, so take a peek at that and see if there are ways you can set aside more money for your road trip.

I hope to see you on the road soon! And if you want to keep up with my road trip travel tips and helping YOU realize getting on the road is might be easier to get on the road than you think, check out my other blog, Traveling Jen Finding Zen.

If you HAVE started saving because of this post (or the others) let me know in the comments below!
