Day 1668 – Remembering Summer – Part 2

Ahhh, another warm wedding! This was a Circle D Farm wedding.

What I loved about this wedding was the gobs and gobs of uniqueness! Favorite part? The ribbon Handfasting ceremony. They had their parents, wedding party and a few very close friends wrap the ribbon around their hands. The best part was that each of those special people got to pick their own ribbon…something that fit their personality.

  1. Who were these fantastic people?! πŸ˜‰
For technical purposes it was called a Handfasting. It’s where the term “tie the knot” comes from. We chose to break tradition by including our friends and multiple ribbons. It was my favorite part of the ceremony too and has made for an awesome centerpiece to our mantle!
