Day 1319 – No One Is Perfect Or I Can’t Believe No One Caught This

So, I have this board I set up at weddings. It basically says, leave your email, we’ll let you know when the pictures are online. It’s a great way to connect with the wedding guests after the wedding. It also takes one more thing off the bride and groom’s plate! I’ve had pretty good success with this!

I’ve wanted to update this board for a while, and finally sat down to do that today. I came up with a great new board! New picture, updated the text, much cleaner look! I love it! I also changed the font, from a more italic font to a more basic font. When I changed the font, I noticed something a little off…I audibly said, “SHUT UP! No way!!” Ran to check and then the laughter…oh the laughter….I laughed SO hard at my unbelievable typo! I have used this sign at 13 weddings! No one has ever noticed it…or at least, no one has ever told me about it!

What did I do? Oh, you know, just misspelled MY OWN NAME!

About 365 days of marriage

I started this blog in April of 2011. At the time, Bret and I were wedding photographers and it was a way to share how marriage is more about the day to day and so much more than the wedding day itself. For about 5 years, I blogged about the joys and sorrows of the Christian walk, marriage, work, family and friends. I’ve blogged every day since a few weeks after I started. In May of 2015, we photographed our last wedding. Now, I have become passionate about simplicity, particularly in marriage, Christianity, business, travel and life. For a number of reasons, we have become minimalists. I’ve found that having simplicity makes life so much deeper, refreshing and joyful. I hope that this blog will help others see the benefits of living simply.
