Over the last few days, I’ve been thinking about pictures. Funny, it was something I used to get paid for, I had some great gear and have captured some great memories for others. But here’s the thing – we suck at taking pictures of ourselves. We have hundreds and hundreds of pictures of our rings and food or other people thanks to this blog (on the plus side, it has gotten me in the habit of taking a photo every day).

I was reminded that I need to take more pictures with Bret. Not only that, but with our friends and family. I think for so many years I felt like asking for a picture was a chore (if you’ve been a guest, wedding party attendant or client at one of the weddings we’ve shot, I’m sure you got tired of it). But I want to be more purposeful in taking photos of the people during each day of our marriage.

So, today, this is us.
