If you know me at all, you know I’m not one for being “up to date with technology”….or fashion….or makeup…or much of anything really. I’ll wear my clothes until they have holes in them and are really not suitable to wear in public anymore (just a few weeks back I wore a sweater that had a hole the size of a hand….I didn’t realize until someone pointed it out). It’s just not me.

I recently came up for an upgrade to my phone. I’ve been using the iPhone 4. It’s been a great phone. Only the last few months were tough with speed and being unable to update apps because I hadn’t updated my iOS. So, I made a HUGE jump from the 4 to the 6. Let me just tell you, I’ve been blown away.

The biggest thing is the talk to text features. Because of that ONE feature, I have probably “written” about 10 pages of my book….in about 15 minutes. I am just plain wowed by that. Talk about knocking down my biggest barrier to writing this book! I am SO excited that I’m finally moving forward with that!

It’s a little thing, but I totally love the fingerprint unlock AND app download. Ahhhhh.

But, the best thing, has been Siri. Bret and I were hanging a conversation with “her” on the drive to school last week and just laughing our heads off at her responses. I tried to grab a screen shot of one particularly funny conversation…but I was too late.

I did get this one though!!
