So, today was day 1 of back to work at the day job and day 1 of being back to our apartment. Ah, I missed home! I get to sleep in my OWN bed tonight! Can’t wait!

One of the things that we came home to was a mess with some paperwork…and a mix up…so, I had to find paperwork to help us fix things. I spent a good hour looking through stacks and stacks and stacks of paper. I’m pretty OCD about a LOT of things…but this just kept getting pushed to the bottom of the pile. Anyways…after looking and finding about half of what I needed, I made a phone call to fix what was mixed up…or at least figure out what we needed to do. After 5 calls and being on hold…I put my number in for a call back from the company…which never came….and I realized that it hadn’t come through after the office had closed…at this point it was 8:00 and I hadn’t eaten any food since lunch (8 and a half hours earlier!)….since we had just gotten home yesterday and tonight was really the first night back…we had VERY little food….so…I did what they tell you not to do….I went shopping when I was hungry….and not only that, starving. I could have passed out, I’m not going to lie. : )

I was going to make the trip to Wal-Mart…because they have most of what we need and it’s cheaper…well…tonight I didn’t feel like dealing with waiting in line (which always happens to me at Wal-Mart)….at the last minute, I decided to go to Food Lion….I’m so glad I did! I spent a little more than I planned….but I got great deals!

About 1/3 was organic….which is very important to Bret and I…it’s hard to do sometimes because of the price…but we do try!

I also got a few presents for my hubby!

The best present was Tiger Sauce…which is something we thought was only sold in California (where Bret is from…in case you didn’t know…) I found it here at Food Lion about a year ago…and kept forgetting to get him a new jar. He was a happy camper when he got home from work!
