Day 1428 – My Hubby Is Home! And He Brought Presents!

So Bret has been away backpacking with two of my brothers and a few of their friends. He went for 4 days and had a BLAST! I’m waiting for pictures from some of the other guys, so you’ll have to wait to see where he went….

But on his way home, he picked up a bottle of the Hopbrosia Mead from Millstone Cellars. Mead, with hops in it? Yes please!!!

Day 1402 – Awesome Mead And Cider In My Backyard – Millstone Cellars – Monkton, Maryland

Today, my brother Josh and I finally stopped by Millstone Cellars.

When we first arrived, the parking lot and tasting room were pretty packed! But we didn’t have to wait long to get a guided tour of the mill. It was fascinating to hear the story behind the mill, how mills operated, how they process their mead and cider, everything!

We sat down and tried several of their current bottles. Oh. My. Gosh. SO good! Josh and I each bought a bottle of the Gingeroot cider. We also loved the Hopbrosia mead. It actually has hops in there too! Yum!

So if you’re in the area, check them out! If you can’t stop by, find them in a store near you….wow, I sound like a commercial! But seriously, so good!

So here is some honeycomb outside. Fresh honey. Dude.
