Day 1309 – My Favorite Bridal Place In The Whole Wide World!
Today I got to hang out at K&B Bridals for a few hours! Bridget invited me up since they had a full day of bridal appointments! I always have so much fun at the shop. Meeting brides, hanging out with the wonderful staff and watching them work. The whole process is fascinating to me. A bride comes in with one expectation and most of the time, by the end it’s completely different. I love how the stylists can see the whole picture, when the bride can’t. Sometimes they’ll suggest adding a belt and it COMPLETELY changes the look of the dress and the bride. They can pick up on cues in the brides….even little ones like how the bride acts in one dress versus another. Every time I see this process, I WISH they had been around when I got married!

I stopped by K&B Bridals and Event Planning tonight and saw their new window! I love what they came up with this time! So festive!
Day 1211 – Full Baumann Wedding!! And A Nice Story About A Bride
I found Anne Marie in a really neat way. I was a vendor at a K&B Bridals and Event Planning Trunk show in April, 2012. I would take pictures of the brides if they wanted as they tried on dresses. I had a very nice time getting to know Anne Marie and her mother as they tried on dresses. When she found HER dress, it wasn’t just her mom and Anne Marie crying, it was also the K&B girls AND me. It was so sweet. So when Anne Marie and Joshua hired me shortly after, I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding! It was such a joyous day! I will go on record as saying that Anne Marie was THE most excited bride I have photographed.
Now that she has had her wedding and her dear husband Joshua has seen her dress, I can finally share the images from the day I met her!!

They were married at St. Ignatius, Hickory, Church in Bel Air, Maryland.
The bridal party’s hair and makeup were done at Visage Salon.
The wedding party’s attire was provided by K&B Bridals.
Their florist was Jonathans Weddings and Flowers.
Their DJ was DJ Russ.
The cake was made by Anne Marie’s mother and decorated by her aunt.
