Today we came back home from house sitting/dog sitting. While it’s great in a lot of ways (eating other people’s food, watching their TV, drinking their beer) it’s also nice to be home (sleeping in your own bed).
We will miss these two…..but not sharing the bed. 🙂
For the last week, we’ve been house sitting for two of our brides. I didn’t realize how similar they are until yesterday.
The first house we stayed at was The Ruperts, the second was The Thorsetts.
Here’s how they’re similar!
They both have dogs.
They live within 1.7 miles of each other.
They were married within 1 week of each other.
Mrs. Rupert got her dress at K&B Bridals, Mrs. Thorsett works there!
They both picked a pretty cool photographer. 😉
They both have cable and that makes this chick happy! (Let’s not talk about how much TV I’ve watched this week…)

Starting today, we are house sitting for some friends.
The dog came with the house… 🙂
As you know, we’re house sitting and I’m renting some lenses. Well, very early this morning…3 a.m. to be exact(!!)…I took some shots of our friends’ cats! I am seriously in love with the 50 mm 1.4 lens! Oh man!
I took some pictures of the dogs at 3 a.m….but they aren’t really night owls like the cats. While the pictures were funny, they weren’t very good! So, I grabbed these in the morning!
