Last night into today, we took a mini get away! Bret had off today for President’s Day and we decided to do a little trip. What’s funny is that we only went about 15 minutes from our home. But we didn’t mind. It was a great hotel, we had a giftcard for a restaurant near by and we just wanted to celebrate something great….the fact that eight years ago today, we met each other.

I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with the SNL 40th anniversary special, parts of Independence Day, sleeping in, breakfast in bed (room service, thank you very much!) and watching The Edge of Tomorrow. Thanks for the best 25% of my life Mr. G. 🙂
