I have to say, I love my job. Using the things I’ve learned from the years running my own business has really helped me in working for other business owners. I love that I can pretty much make my own hours. I love that I can go to the movies during the day and work later or earlier. I love that I wore a Batman shirt to work today. But I experienced an added bonus today. One of my clients has an AWESOME espresso machine and she made me a mocha coffee today! Delicious! 🙂
Why yes, this mug is the size of my head. Why yes, it is 6:30 at night. I’m either going to regret this tomorrow morning or I’m going to be super happy I got as much done as I did….
Bret and I grabbed coffee after school tonight. It was a delightful time where we talked about some really cool “down the road” dreams about traveling. But, here’s the thing….I had coffee…and now it’s 9:30 and I’m wired! BUT, I did get a good 2 and a half hour work sprint for my clients! Woot! 😀
One of the “secrets” of a marriage is to continually date and woo your spouse. Our alarm goes off at 5:45 every day. Most days, Bret will go through one snooze cycle. Some mornings I’ll go through 2-3. More often than not, Bret has been bringing me a cup of coffee for when I do get up. He tries to fake me out every morning….especially when I ask about coffee….it’ll take me a minute or two to realize I have a hot mug next to me.
This morning, I got up before he came back down. I walked into him writing me a post it note to go with my cup of coffee. 🙂 This guy is the coolest.

After church, Bret was on his way to work and I got a text inviting me to lunch with him! I love last minute meals with him. 🙂 Check out the chicken on the roof if you’re in the Joppa area! My pit ham was soooooo good! And the size of Bret’s head!
