Today’s trip down memory lane takes us to my visit to California in 2008. Seems like yesterday and so long ago at the same time!

Day 756 – Bel Air Maryland Photographer – Tardif Wedding
Today we spent our Day 756 photographing John and Jennifer’s Day 1! They were married at Richlin Ballroom.: )
We love you guys and wish you much joy in your new life together! It was an honor capturing your day!
Day 755 – “We’re Walking Out to This?”
Today we went to my parents’ house to start housesitting and watching their dog, Gretchen. Since we got married at my parents’ house, I thought it would be appropriate to share a pic from our rehearsal.
I love this shot because of what we were talking about…in the weeks before the wedding, I was picking out music for the wedding, I played Coldplay’s Clocks and said, “hey babe, you ok to walk out to this?” He said yes, or some other agreeatory word…..when this started to play when we walked out, he said “we’re walking out to this??” It got a great laugh….and we did still walk out to it. : )
Day 754 – Tardif Rehearsal
Tonight we photographed John and Jennifer’s rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. It is always a blessing to be at the rehearsal dinner. You get to meet and hang out with the family and the closest friends of the couple. It really helps everyone to be even more comfortable with us on the wedding day. This is one of the main reasons we don’t charge for coverage of the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We don’t want it to be an option because it is such an important part.
This rehearsal dinner was no exception. We had great conversations with everyone and shared in a very special moment when John and Jennifer thanked everyone.
I grabbed this shot outside the venue. I love how my husband looks with a camera around his neck. : )
Day 750 – Trip Down Memory Lane – Loch Raven Reservoir
Today’s trip down memory lane takes us to Loch Raven Reservoir. This was from Bret’s visit before he went to Iraq. I still vividly remember discussing our future, getting married and what our life together would look like. Might have been a little crazy to talk about all that after only knowing each other a few months AND a few weeks before he went to Iraq, but it was a really special day.
