Today we did a super long kayaking trip down the Gunpowder River. We put in at Falls Road and floated all the way down to Sparks Road! The whole trip took about 7 hours (including a stop at Monkton Station for lunch). It was so peaceful and a wonderful bonding experience. If you kayak, I highly recommend this route!
I had such a blast yesterday! I set up a booth at the Rebel Race in Monkton and met some really awesome people!!!
Today is my birthday. Fun fact, I’m 32, which is 1 billion seconds. I’ve been so excited for my birthday this year, just so I could share that fact. 🙂
So how does a 32 year old spend her birthday? Oh you know, playing Lego video games. 🙂
I’m so glad I have a hubby that it’s just as silly and fun as me. He actually bought the game for my birthday!

I’ve been doing a lot of running around the past few days as well as a lot of computer work. I’ve been going a little stir crazy every time I sit down in front of the computer, so today I’m taking a break from the indoors and the computer screen and reading outside!
One of the things I like to do is read a chapter in each book I’m currently working on, including some fiction. This way, it’s almost a “treat/break” when I get to the fiction. Though, I absolutely LOVE non-fiction business book too….so the whole time is a “treat/break.” 🙂
I picked up a book I had on hold at the library today and did some wandering to find some more books. I am OVER THE MOON about my find! Even though it’s the second in the series and I’ll have to wait to get the first one to read it, I’m so stoked!
Marvel Zombies! AH! Two of my geek loves! There’s like 8 different graphic novels at the library in this series. One of which is A Zombie Christmas Carol. I cannot believe I didn’t know this existed!
Today we had the Get To Know You meeting in Havre de Grace with our June 20th couple! Bret and I got to chill for a little bit before they got there, just chatting about life. It was wonderful! Check out the view!
