This came up on my newsfeed today. Five years ago, we had 12+ inches of snow.
I’m going to say it. I’m really tired of snow. I miss routine. *sigh*

Well, we’re on day 4. Bret is out of school AGAIN tomorrow. I ventured out today and it is no joke on the roads! It makes a lot of sense why the schools are still closed.
These are from the past few days.

Sadly, this was plowed just a few hours later. 😦
(If you can’t read it…it says “husband pants hearts wife cakes”)

I think we reached the “snowed in too long” point. We just spent about 2 hours watching a bobcat and plow clear our parking lot. We set up chairs and everything.
School is closed again tomorrow. We must get out.

On the second day of being snow bound, I ventured out. For what? Rockstar reading fuel of course!
Of the 33 books I got from the library, I’ve skimmed 6 magazines, 1 book skimmed and decided to skip. I’m halfway through The Magic Strings Of Frankie Presto by Mitch Albom (Absolutely amazing book so far. I’m so thankful that I was taught music from an early age so I understand a lot. Seriously, check this book out.) I’m 23% through Mind Hacking by Sir John Hargrave. Another fantastic book. I also started The Nerdist Way by Chris Hardwick and it has been simply delightful so far.
Bret just got word that school is closed again tomorrow, so I’m hopeful I’ll finish at least one of those books. Now that I have fuel, I should be good to go…
