Ten years ago today, I was so nervous about meeting this guy my friend knew. I always over imagine how things will go and this was no different. Long story short, it went well. To celebrate the last ten years, I want to share ten ways Bret has made my life better. Love ya babe, it’s been real.
1 – He supported my photography business by photographing for me.
2 – He supported me going full-time into freelance work in 2011.
3 – He makes me feel less crazy because of his craziness.
4 – He encourages me to take God at His word.
5 – He read and reread my many versions of my first book.
6 – He became the perfect road trip buddy.
7 – He makes me laugh more than I ever have in my life.
8 – He picked me up off the floor after many drunken nights and still loved me. He has been so supportive of my sobriety.
9 – He challenges me to grow when I feel fine where I am.
10 – He encourages me to chase my dreams, no matter how many times they change.
