Day 1208 – Completed Hurricane Puzzle

Ok, I’ll be 100% honest with my dear readers. The puzzle was actually finished on November 1st, but I have a special post scheduled, so I’m posting the finished puzzle today. It was finished at about 3 p.m. on November 1st even though I realllllly tried to finish it on October 31st….Just count it as my Halloween trick 😉

Here is the completed 2000 piece puzzle. Everyone helped and it was a great time…when the power was on and when it was off.

To give you an idea of scale…I put a DVD on the puzzle. Also, the puzzle is resting on a coffee table AND an ottoman.

Day 1207 – Hurricane Aftermath

Well, I’m writing this with power thanks to BGE! I wanted to give a huge shout out to all the amazing first responders out there! Police, Firefighters, Medical, BGE, etc! I know I left someone out, but still! We lost power about 8 p.m. last night and it was restored this evening! What a great response! So very very thankful. Now that it’s back on though, we have some left overs!

We filled up big three 3 gallon jugs with water! We finished one already. This was a GREAT idea! Which I’m sure we’ll do the next time there is a potential outage.

We also got some instant coffee…which thankfully I like and no one else does! It’s all mine!!! 🙂

Day 1205 – Preparing For Hurricane Sandy

Since there is a hurricane coming right at us and we will most likely lose power, I am rushing to finish the Baumann Wedding! As I go through the pictures, I found a few that probably won’t make it into the album, but I like them…

We go to any length to make our clients happy! Go Bret! Even after all these weddings, I still don’t know how to pin the boutonniere!
